About C & L Contracting and Design

C & L Contracting and Design is a Friendswood-based, woman owned and operated, design and remodeling company established in 1996. The area has seen many wonderful changes over the years, but one thing remains the same, our founders’ love of kitchens and how they impact the lives of her clients.

Cynthia Qualia, CKBD, founder of C & L Contracting and Design, applies her passion for kitchen design and her 30 years of experience into providing design ideas and remodeling solutions for the challenges homeowners face when confronted with multiple selections, choices and decisions.  She understands the importance of getting it right the first time.

As a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, she has had the opportunity to utilize her finance degree to serve as Treasurer, and then President of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. She attends continuing education seminars and industry compliance certification programs throughout the year. As a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, CKBD, her goal is to apply the NKBA guidelines to each and every project

For over 30 years Cyndy has lived in Friendswood, raised three wonderful Friendswood High Alums, Robert, Matthew, and Allison, while being blessed with her husband, John, who enjoys spending time with family as much as she does.
